The US Department of Energy has published a forecast for oil production in Turkmenistan in 2023-2024, Trend reports with reference to the Energy Information Administration (EIA) of the institution.

According to estimates, the production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Turkmenistan in the first, second, third and fourth quarters of this year will average 0.27 million barrels per day. This is 3.8% more compared to the same forecast for 2022.

According to the EIA forecast, 0.27 million barrels of oil per day will be produced in Turkmenistan in 2024. Quarterly production of raw materials per day will amount to 0.27 million barrels, respectively.
