Turkmenistan has ratified a trade and economic agreement with Azerbaijan and Turkey


President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a law on ratification of the Agreement on trade and economic cooperation with Azerbaijan and Turkey. The text of the law was published today in the official Turkmen press.
The document was proposed during the trilateral summit of the heads of state of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey in the city of Turkmenbashi in December last year. It provides for the activation of economic partnership between the three friendly countries.
Previously, it was reported that Mejlis of the country unanimously voted for the adoption of the bill.
The trilateral agreement is important for deepening regional cooperation in various fields and reflects the mutual desire of the countries to expand cooperation.
