Russia plans to digitize the entire street and road network, said Alexander Demin, CEO of Digital Roads, at the technology exhibition within the framework of the XIV International IT Forum in Khanty-Mansiysk.

"In Russia, it is planned to digitize the entire street and road network by 2030 - 1.5 million km. And in the future, to monitor the condition of objects in automatic mode, in particular, traffic lights, road signs, fences, curbs, stops," Demin said.

The "Autodiscovery" software will allow specialists to quickly respond to changes in the technical condition of road transport infrastructure facilities. For example, to identify the lack of necessary road signs.

"Virtual copies of the infrastructure are formed using artificial intelligence, which captures the event. And then specialists set a deadline for bringing them into a regulatory state," said the head of the Digital Roads company.

It should be noted that at the moment the above-mentioned enterprise has digitized 70 cities in 29 regions of Russia and 40 thousand km of roads.
