Turkmen scientists are working on the production of hydrogen by hydrolysis


Scientists of the Center for Hydrogen Energy of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshigeldi Kakayev are working on the production of hydrogen by hydrolysis, and have already achieved some positive results in this area.
This was told by the deputy director of the Center Bayram Velkhanov at the Ashgabat conference "Energy prospects, new technologies and environmental aspects of the development of hydrocarbon deposits," the ORIENT correspondent reports.
Velkhanov added that in the near future the laboratory of the Hydrogen Energy Center will receive the latest equipment to expand the range of activities and conduct new experiments.
He also noted that the Center is actively developing international cooperation in order to improve the skills of Turkmen scientists and study the experience of foreign countries in the field of hydrogen energy.
Recently, contacts have been established and joint events have been held with Imperial College London, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, Japanese companies Kawasaki Heavy Ind. and Iwatani, as well as UNIDO and MAGATE.
