Research Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan discussed the development of seismology with world developers
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Austria took part in the opening ceremony of the international conference "Science and Technology — 2023". Representatives of the Institute of Seismology and Atmospheric Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan joined the discussions via videoconference.
Delegates of scientific, educational and research institutions from all over the world discussed innovations in the seismological industry with technology manufacturers and developers in various fields, in particular, monitoring and analysis systems, the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission reports.
The event was organized by the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization. It will last until June 23 at the Austrian Hofburg Palace in Vienna.
Currently, the CTBTO has about 50 main and 120 auxiliary seismic monitoring stations. Earlier it was reported that a modern seismic station will also appear in Turkmenistan.
