After purchasing a new Wi-Fi router, it is not necessary to get rid of the old one. A wireless LAN device that has served you can be used to expand the capabilities of a new one. This advice was given by telecommunications expert Vyacheslav Burkhailo.
According to him, an additional router makes it possible to improve the functioning of the home network. By using an old Wi-Fi router as a switch or repeater, you can amplify the Wi-Fi signal or connect more devices to the main router, as well as increase the distance of the network connection.
