Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have fully completed the process of demarcation of the state border, the international news agency "Kazinform" reports with reference to the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Aibek Smadiyarov.

The entry into force of the agreement between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on the demarcation of the Kazakh-Uzbek state border on December 2, 2022 put an end to the 19-year process.

The total length of the border is 2357 km. It is marked with 1,301 border signs and is reflected in one demarcation document, the volume of which is over eight thousand pages.
