Kickboxing championship of Turkmenistan started in Dashoguz
The kickboxing championship of Turkmenistan, organized by the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the country in cooperation with the Federation of this sport of Turkmenistan, has started in Dashoguz.
The tournament, which brought together more than two hundred participants from all regions of the country of various age categories, will determine the winners in three sections: K-1, low-kick and light contact.
It is appropriate to note here that fights in the light contact discipline are held for the first time in the history of Turkmen kickboxing. The peculiarity of this section is that the athlete must control the force of the blow when in contact with the opponent.
The winners of the championship will form the main team of Turkmenistan's kickboxing team to participate in international tournaments.
