Separate departments will deal with agriculture and nature protection - ministers appointed

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan will be divided into two departments - the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Environmental Protection - in order to more actively promote reforms in these areas. The document was signed on Friday at an expanded government meeting by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

In this regard, Nazarmyrat Nazarmyradov, who until now has been the head of the administration of the Dashoguz region, has been appointed Minister of Agriculture.

Charygeldi Babaniyazov, who by that time was the chairman of the Committee of the Mejlis on environmental protection, nature management and agro-industrial complex, became the Minister of Environmental Protection.
