Turkmenistan was represented at the meeting of the Commission on Economic Issues of the CIS
The Turkmen delegation took part in the regular meeting of the Commission on Economic Issues under the CIS Economic Council, which was held in Moscow.
The participants of the meeting discussed various aspects of economic cooperation of the CIS member states, analyzed the activities of the bodies of sectoral cooperation of the Commonwealth.
In particular, the Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy "Public Health of the CIS member States" for 2024-2025, the draft Regulations on technology platforms within the framework of the Interstate Program of Innovative Cooperation of the CIS member states for the period up to 2030 were considered.
The members of the commission were familiarized with the state of the securities market in the CIS member states. The information contains information on the composition of professional stock market participants, trading volumes of financial instruments, market capitalization and measures to prevent violations in this area.
The delegates also touched upon the issues of cooperation of the CIS member states in the field of geodesy, cartography, geoinformation technologies, remote sensing of the Earth. The meeting considered a number of financial issues, as well as issues related to the budget of the CIS bodies.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled to be held on September 13, 2023.
