The national futsal team of Turkmenistan defeated Kyrgyzstan in the fourth round of the CAFA FUTSAL CUP-2023. The meeting, held in Dushanbe, ended with a score of 2:0.
The goalkeeper of the Turkmen team Meretgeldy Gurbanov was recognized as the best player of the match.
In a parallel match, Iran beat Uzbekistan with a score of 5:0. The hosts of the tournament, Tajikistan, will face Afghanistan.
In the final round, which will be held on July 30, Turkmenistan will play Afghanistan, Uzbekistan will meet Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan will play a match against Iran.
CAFA Futsal Cup-2023 is the first ever tournament among the national teams of Central Asia. The international tournament takes place from July 23 to July 30 in Dushanbe (Tajikistan).
The national teams of Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are fighting for the title of the strongest team in the region.
Competitions are held in a round-robin system, where each team will play with its opponent. The winning team will be determined by the number of points scored.
