Orban invited Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the opening of the World Athletics Championships


Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has sent a message to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which he invited the head of state to the grand opening of the World Athletics Championships in Budapest. This was reported in the evening broadcast of the Turkmen State Television.
The World Cup takes place from August 19 to 27 at the National Athletics Center, a modern stadium worth €650 million, which was opened a month ago. Here athletes will compete for medals in 49 disciplines.
The Presidents of Azerbaijan - Ilham Aliyev, Kyrgyzstan - Sadyr Zhaparov, Uzbekistan - Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and other leaders were also invited to the opening ceremony of the World Athletics Championships.
The distinguished guests will arrive in Hungary on the occasion of the main state holiday of the country - St. Stephen's Day, which is celebrated on August 20 as the founding day of the Hungarian state.
