Turkmen specialists took part in the Digital Technologies Forum in Urumqi
More than 150 officials, experts, scientists and entrepreneurs from around the world, including Turkmenistan, took part in the two-day forum "Introduction of Digital Technologies for Sustainable Economic Development", held in the Chinese city of Urumqi.
The Turkmen delegation was represented by scientists of the Academy of Sciences, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and universities of the country. The event was organized by the Institute of Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC), which includes 11 member states, including Turkmenistan.
The main topics of the forum were the progress of the CAREC countries in the development of digital strategies, the development of critical infrastructure and the creation of a favorable investment environment. The speakers paid special attention to the use of modern technologies for green, sustainable and inclusive growth. Government representatives and businessmen shared their experience of implementing digital technologies in their countries, the IC of Turkmenistan reports.
