Luxury pet plane to fly between Dubai and London

Four-legged "tourists" with their owners will travel on board the luxury plane. The ticket price is almost 10 thousand dollars and includes a seat for one passenger and two pets with a total weight of 45 kg or one weighing up to 23 kg, the press service of the airline K9 Jets reported.
The first flight will depart on September 26 from Al Maktoum International Airport. Registration will take place at the private terminal of the air harbor. The four-legged "passengers" will be met by the ship's crew and escorted to a kind of VIP lounge - pets will rest before boarding the flight on a manicured lawn.
The idea of providing such a unique service came to the mind of former pilot Adam Golder, who together with his wife Kirsty founded K9 Jets. The policy of many commercial airlines restricts the transportation of larger pets in the cabin of an airliner and they have to travel in the cargo compartment in special containers. K9 Jets offers stress-free flights for pets and their owners.
"To date, we have transported more than 220 happy pets and their owners on international flights from destinations such as Paris, London, New Jersey, Los Angeles and Lisbon. Our new route to Dubai is the first flight of K9 Jets to the Middle East. We plan to further expand air refueling and open new routes further East, to Asia and Australia in 2024," the airline's press service reports, quoting the words of the author of the project Adam Golder.
The private airline K9 Jets is based in Birmingham. The Golders couple founded it last year after noticing a sharp increase in demand for unusual travel in their subsidiary G6 Aviation - the owners bought seats in the cabin for their pets. In order for pets to fly comfortably, and not as cargo, the owners of animals began to cooperate and organize charter flights for the convenience of their four-legged wards. "Catching this wave," an enterprising married couple launched a new type of service, which turned out to be very popular. According to the International Association of Pets, more than 4 million pets travel by air every year in the world.
