French conductor David Yurpo will perform with the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan
Young French conductor David Yurpo will give a concert in Ashgabat on November 4 and will conduct the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan. He is a renowned guitarist and music director of the Macon Symphony Orchestra (France), as well as the Macon Conservatory. In addition, Yurpo is the organizer of the festival and international vocal competition “Symphonies d'automne”.
The evening program will feature French and Turkmen works, including compositions by the famous contemporary composer Pierre Tilua, who flew to Ashgabat again and will also attend the concert. Let us remind you that the guest visited the Turkmen capital in the summer this year and held various creative meetings and discussed the possibility of creating joint musical projects with Turkmen colleagues.
The concert is organized by the French Institute in Ashgabat and the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
