A festival will be held in Turkmenistan in honor of the 85th anniversary of Nury Halmamedov
On October 27-28, the festival "Life permeated with Music" ("Mukama siñen ömür") will be held in Ashgabat, the city of Arkadag and the regions in honor of the 85th anniversary of the outstanding composer Nury Halmamedov.
Deputy Prime Minister Mahrijemal Mammedova reported to the President of Turkmenistan on the preparations for the anniversary events dedicated to the author of works included in the treasury of world musical art during a government meeting on Friday.
Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov, emphasizing the exceptional importance of Nury Halmamedov's creative heritage for the development of Turkmen and world music and calling his works "examples of high skill", instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to hold a festival in honor of the Turkmen composer at a level worthy of his extraordinary talent.
