Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology: The cost of implemented projects in Turkmenistan has exceeded $50 billion

Kajir said that Turkish companies have assumed responsibility for more than 1,000 projects in Turkmenistan. "We hope that they will continue to contribute to the implementation of new projects in Turkmenistan, especially in the city of Arkadag," the official concluded.

In addition, the Minister made a call to increase the volume of trade and investment between Turkey and Turkmenistan.

Kajir noted that the Presidents of Turkey and Turkmenistan, acting in accordance with a common goal, seek to increase the volume of trade between the two countries to $ 5 billion. He invited Turkmen companies to invest more in Turkey and use the opportunities offered by the Turkish side.

The Minister stressed that cooperation between friendly countries, which are a bridge between Asia and Europe, is of great importance not only for economic prosperity, but also for strengthening friendship between peoples. He also stressed the importance of the forum, which unites the top leaders and the business world of Turkey and Turkmenistan, and called for further development of relations based on the historical and cultural heritage of both countries.

Kajir expressed hope for an increase in the volume of trade between the two countries from $ 2.1 billion in 2022 to $5 billion.

Strengthening trade and investment ties between Turkey and Turkmenistan can contribute to the development and economic growth of both countries. Such a partnership creates opportunities for the development of industry, business expansion and the creation of new jobs. Turkey and Turkmenistan will continue to cooperate in order to achieve the designated goals and expand promising economic cooperation.
