The role of Magtymguly’s creativity was discussed in Kyrgyzstan
The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kyrgyzstan organized the international scientific conference "The role of Magtymguly Pyragy in the spiritual and cultural values of mankind" in Bishkek. This is reported by the website of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.
The participants discussed the importance of the creative heritage of the great thinker, which is both a national treasure of the Turkmen people and an integral part of the treasury of world culture.
Within the framework of the conference, which was held at the Kyrgyz-Turkish University "Manas", an exhibition of applied art was also launched, a film about the life and work of Magtymguly was shown.
The Turkmen delegation included representatives of the State Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Magtymguly Turkmen State University. They met with the rector of the Kyrgyz-Turkish University "Manas", director of the Institute of Language and Culture named after C.Aitmatov of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan.
During the visit, representatives of the academic circles of Turkmenistan visited the National Historical Museum of Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek.
