Turkmenistan celebrated the professional holiday of fuel and energy sector workers

In Turkmenistan, on Thursday, December 14, festive events were held throughout the country in honor of the workers of the fuel and energy complex, the flagship industry of the Turkmen economy. The Day of Oil and Gas Industry and Geology Workers was celebrated in all regions of the country and in Ashgabat. A solemn meeting was held in the capital's oil and gas complex building, which was attended by members of the government, the leadership of the country's fuel and energy complex, and the leaders of multidisciplinary production.
During the festive forum, the speakers noted that Turkmenistan, as an energy power, ranks fourth in the world in terms of hydrocarbon reserves. At the same time, it successfully implements a policy of diversifying export routes in order to ensure international energy security.

The Galkynysh supergiant deposit (according to the international classification) is known all over the world, which is the largest gas storage facility on land. But the boundaries of this unique deposit have not been definitively determined due to its grandiose scale. So, according to experts, the volume of confirmed reserves will increase.
Exactly fourteen years ago – on December 14, 2009 – the Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline was put into operation, laid across the territory of four states. And two years later, on November 24, 2011, during his state visit to China, the President of the country took part in the solemn ceremony of launching the flow of Turkmen gas to China in Guangdong Province – "blue fuel" then reached the Pacific coast, namely– the Chinese city of Shenzhen.

But the Turkmen fuel and energy complex is famous not only for supplying natural gas abroad. In recent years, an important vector of the energy strategy has been aimed at increasing the volume of processing of natural gas at domestic gas chemical complexes in order to produce liquid products in demand at home and abroad.
According to the Program for the Development of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period up to 2030, the fuel and energy complex is systematically equipped with IT technologies and digital systems that meet the requirements of the fourth industrial revolution.

But with all this, a special requirement on the part of management for fuel and energy sector employees is compliance with strict environmental standards at all levels of production and services – as already reported, at COP-28 Turkmenistan announced its accession to the Global Methane Commitment.
In honor of the professional holidays, the leaders of the oil and gas industry were presented with valuable gifts on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The presentation of memorable gifts to the winners of the creative competition among the employees of the fuel and energy complex also took place.
And a new gas station capable of servicing one and a half thousand cars daily became a festive gift to Ashgabat residents from employees of the fuel and energy complex. The high quality of services provided to car owners is ensured by the digital equipment of the gas station, which keeps records at all levels of service and reporting.
