Turkmenistan Airlines is among the most punctual airlines in the Sheremetyevo ranking
Sheremetyevo, a Russian international airport of federal significance, one of the four main airports in Moscow and the Moscow region, has summed up the results of its annual airline punctuality rating. The winners were determined based on flight punctuality and traffic volume.
Turkmenistan Airlines was among the winners in the nomination “The most punctual cargo airline” (with a volume of less than 300 air landing operations), taking second place in it. Air China Cargo took first place in this category, and Uzbekistan Airways came in third, according to the AviaPort.Ru website.
The information notes that Sheremetyevo Airport has created favorable conditions for the activities of all types of airlines with different business models and attracting new air carriers. Thus, Sheremetyevo was the first among Russian airports to develop and implement a unique Digital Ecosystem for integrated airport management and an effective system of joint decision-making with airlines, which allows for prompt maintenance and aircraft turnover, minimizing taxiing time and reducing airline costs.
Sheremetyevo's route network expanded to 159 destinations in 2023 due to the resumption and opening of new international routes.
