Active work is underway in the Dashoguz region of Turkmenistan to improve the efficiency of agricultural work. Mammedoraz Babajanov, chief engineer of the Dashoguzsuvhojalyk production association, told about this in an interview with the correspondent of Dashoguz Habarlary.
It should be noted that the association successfully completed the plan for the previous year. Currently, Dashoguzsuvhojalyk specialists are making every effort to obtain water in a timely manner in the prescribed amount, and are carrying out appropriate measures to provide water to agricultural fields designated for wheat, cotton, potatoes and other crops for next year's harvest.
When performing cleaning and other works, the company uses modern equipment — 5 bulldozers, 13 dredgers, 14 pumps and 21 excavators.
Among the leaders of the friendly team, the chief engineer noted Amangeldi Paltaev, Dovran Annaev, Ovezdurdy Gayypov, Sapargeldi Rejepov.
The main source of water in the northern region of Turkmenistan is the Amu Darya, from which the irrigation canals of Turkmenderya, Hanyap, Gylychbai and Jumabai are stretched, and Shabbat, Shasenem and Gazavat originate from Turkmenderya. The cross-border drainage channels Kelly, Dovdan, Mangyt, Chagat-Atabent and Main Kunyaurgench also flow through the territory of Dashoguz Velayat, where cleaning works are regularly carried out.
