The French Prime Minister has resigned

Elizabeth Borne has resigned as Prime Minister of France.
According to the Elysee Palace, President Emmanuel Macron accepted Borne's resignation and thanked her for her work.
"Your service for the benefit of our people has been exemplary. Thank you from the bottom of my heart," the head of state wrote on his page on the social network X.
Elizabeth Borne who was the first woman in this position in the last 30 years, will continue to serve as prime minister until a new government is formed.
Borne has been the head of the country's government since May 2022. Prior to that, she was Minister of Labor, Minister of Environmental Transition and Minister of Transport of France
