Chinese Foreign Minister highlights six bright spots for Chinese diplomacy in 2023
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi cited several bright spots for Chinese diplomacy in 2023, noting that the past 12 months have been fruitful. This was reported by the Xinhua News Agency.
Thus, speaking at a symposium on the international situation and Chinese diplomacy in 2023, Wang Yi emphasized that over the past year, significant progress has been made in building a community with a common destiny for mankind. This has given new impetus to efforts to create a brighter future for humanity.
Among the achievements, the Chinese Foreign Minister also included the holding of the High-Level Forum on International Cooperation within the framework of the One Belt and Road Initiative, as well as the China-Central Asia Summit, which created a new platform for good neighborliness and friendly cooperation in the region.
The BRICS mechanism (an interstate association, a union of ten states: Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia) has achieved its historical expansion.
Wang Yi concluded that the above points indicate China's great potential in innovation orientation.
