Permits for international transportation by car can be obtained at all branches of the Turkmenulaggozegchilik enterprise of the Turkmenavtoulaglary Agency
Since January 15, 2024, permits of foreign states for international transportation can be issued at the branches of the state enterprise "Turkmenulaggozegchilik" of the Agency "Turkmenavtoulaglary".
The innovation is aimed at optimizing the entry and exit process for road carriers, creating more comfortable conditions for international transportation.
The departments of permits and document analysis will operate in the Ahal region and the city of Ashgabat. In the Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats, this service will be provided by road control departments. Road control authorities at border checkpoints will also issue and issue permits for Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
The agency also reports that the issuance and registration of permits from Azerbaijan from the checkpoint of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport to the points of Artyk, Hovdan, Sarahs, Garabogaz, Altyn Asyr, Dashoguz, Kunyaurgench, Gazojak, Farap, Ymamnazar and Serhetabad are also carried out by the relevant departments of the Turkmenulaggozegchilik enterprise.
