China has broken the record for the supply of cars


China has set a historical record for the supply of cars and took the first place in the world.
According to the country’s Customs Service, in 2023, Chinese manufacturers exported over 5.22 million units of cars (+57% per year) worth 101.6 billion.
Among the leading exporting companies are Chery Automobile, with 922,830 vehicles, SAIC Passenger Cars (685,018 units), Tesla China (344,078 units), Geely Automobile (274,101 units), Great Wall Motors (267,756 units), BYD Automobile (242,765 units), Changan (191 917 units), Wuling (184,935 units).
Chinese brand cars are exported to more than 200 countries and regions of the world. Among them are the countries of Europe and Southeast Asia, Australia.
The car supply chain in China is stable, and production costs are low.
