Starting from March 1, 2024, 16 types of licenses and permits for business entities will be canceled in Uzbekistan. The decision of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is aimed at simplifying business and reducing administrative barriers.

This is reported by the publication gazeta.uz .

7 types of permits are completely canceled, 8 types of permits are canceled by combining and 3 more types of licenses and permits are transferred to the notification format. This means that you will not need to undergo state registration to receive them. For example, it will now be possible to engage in the activities of a travel agent without a license. Additionally, remote assessment of license applicants and permits via video link is allowed.

The requirement to place 15 thousand dollars in the Safe Tourism Fund for outbound tourism is also canceled. And legal entities can now optionally choose the place of inspection of their vehicles.

The cancellation of licenses and permits will allow entrepreneurs to save significant funds. According to government estimates, as a result of these changes, a total of almost 350 billion soums per year will remain at the disposal of entrepreneurs.

Since this year, 34 types of certificates and reports have also been canceled. Thanks to this, more than 21 thousand entrepreneurs will be able to save 500 million soums annually. At the same time, Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to introduce a unified reporting system.
