A meeting of working groups of the Turkmen-Uzbek demarcation commission was held in Bukhara


The next meeting of the working group of the Turkmen-Uzbek Demarcation Commission was held from January 5 to 11 in Bukhara.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of preparing cartographic materials and conducting field work on certain sections of the State Border, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reported.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding, the department noted. Following the event, a corresponding Protocol was signed.
The next meeting is scheduled to be held on the territory of Turkmenistan.
It was previously reported that Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan intend to optimize fees and payments for international cargo transportation and simplify obtaining visas for truck drivers.
