Turkmen-Türkiye cooperation in various fields was discussed in Istanbul
On January 23, 2024, at the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul, a meeting was held between Consul General M.Ovezov and the Head of International Relations of the Istanbul Municipality, Yu. Barbaros Buyuksagnak.
During the meeting, the interlocutors noted the dynamic nature of the development of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye. In this regard, the special role of meetings between representatives of the Consulate and the Municipality in strengthening the political and diplomatic dialogue was noted.
As part of the discussion of further ways to develop cooperation, the need to search for new forms of partnership and the readiness of the parties to take further steps to expand bilateral ties was stated.
M.Ovezov touched upon current issues on the bilateral agenda, including cooperation in the field of IT technology, education and culture. The interlocutors also discussed holding joint festive events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi.
