Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova accepted a letter of credence from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation Thomas Staehl on Monday, January 22.

On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the speaker congratulated the diplomat on his appointment and wished him success in his work.

Speaking about future cooperation between the two countries, the ambassador noted that his country is very interested in strengthening bilateral relations in all areas, according to the Mejlis website.

Stahl assured that he would make every effort to further deepen and effective cooperation that fully meets the interests of both countries.
