A young musician from Turkmenistan is a prize-winner of an international instrumental performance competition

A young musician from Turkmenistan, oboist Eziz Garyagdyev, became the winner of the IX All-Russian instrumental performance competition among students of children's music schools and children's art schools "Musical Marathon".
The competition was held online with the participation of representatives from many countries.
Eziz, representing the Special Music Boarding School at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kulieva, took third place in the category of “playing wind and percussion instruments.”
He performed the first movement of Alessandro Marcello's Oboe Concerto.
Eziz absorbed his love for music being yet a child. His mentor is Akhmat Abaev.
