A meeting between the Consul General of Turkmenistan in Kazan and the Rector of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University took place
On February 6, 2024, at the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Kazan, there was held a meeting between Consul General G. Garayev and Rector of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (NSPU) A. Galiakberova.
The rector of the NSPU expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Consulate General and educational organizations of Turkmenistan to expand cooperation with the Turkmen side in the field of education. In 2023, the NSPU delegation visited Turkmenistan several times as part of participation in international events and joint projects.
The rector noted that from November 20 to November 30, 2023, on the basis of the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan, more than 300 teachers of Turkmen educational institutions completed advanced training courses in biology, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, teaching methods in primary grades and teaching the Russian language, which were organized by the NSPU. More than 90 students of the joint Turkmen-Russian school named after. A.S. Pushkin took part in educational events.
The Consul General noted that the training of highly qualified teaching staff today is one of the priorities of the education system. In this regard, the Turkmen diplomat welcomed the efforts of the NSPU to develop cooperation in this sphere.
The parties also discussed the possibility of mutual publication of scientific articles by representatives of the parties, concluding bilateral agreements with specialized Turkmen educational institutions, etc.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their commitment to further expand bilateral cooperation.
