Voting in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation will be held in five cities of Turkmenistan
Russian citizens in Turkmenistan this Sunday will be able to vote in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation at polling stations in five cities. The addresses of polling stations have been published on the website of the Russian Embassy in Ashgabat:
11 Turkmenbashi Avenue, Ashgabat (Department of Education, Science and Culture of the Embassy);
81a Magtymguly Avenue, Turkmenbashi (consular post of the Embassy);
Turkmenabat, 129A Bitarap Turkmenistan Street (cultural center);
Mary, 31 Vatan Street (city hall);
Dashoguz, 10 let Abadanchylyk street (city hall).
Polling stations will be open on March 17 from 08:00 to 20:00 local time.
The diplomatic mission previously noted that tens of thousands of people are currently registered as consulates in Turkmenistan. In 2018, over 4,000 voters took part in the presidential elections in Turkmenistan.
