A company will be created in Uzbekistan to promote local brands abroad. This was reported by the press service of President of the Republic Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Foreign designers, technologists and marketers who will be part of this company will be responsible for ensuring that domestic products comply with international requirements. It will also have the right to issue subsidies, compensation and other types of support based on the sustainability rating of entrepreneurs.
As part of the reform of this area of the economy, the republic intends to combine issues of production in the regions, industrial zones and exports into one system, and transfer 12 sectoral and industrial associations under the jurisdiction of the country’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In turn, requests for support from companies will be dealt with not by government agencies, but by the organization of self-government of entrepreneurs.
The President of Uzbekistan emphasized the need to attract representatives of business circles in the regions to the production of export-oriented products.
