Turkmen runners join Baku Marathon 2024
The Baku Marathon 2024 will be held in the Azerbaijani capital on May 5. Registration for participation in its seventh edition began on March 1, and already, almost a month before the start of the marathon, about 10 thousand people have registered to participate in it.
The list of registered participants also includes participants from Turkmenistan, as well as from Germany, China, France, Georgia, India, Iraq, Iran, Italy, Canada, Russia, Turkey and other countries, Azerbaijani media reported.
Registration will last until 25, it is available online on the website www.marathon.az .
The organizers promise that many famous personalities, artists and sports figures will join the Baku Marathon as honorary participants this year.
The Baku Marathon, or rather, the 21 km half marathon, has been held since 2016.
