On April 25, an experiment to convert student ID cards and grade books into electronic form will start in Russia.

The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the press service of the Russian government reports.

The experiment will last until December 31, 2025.

First, the documents will be translated into electronic format. Then they will appear in your personal account on the government services portal and in the mobile application in the form of a QR code.

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Culture, as well as the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science have been appointed responsible for the implementation of this project.

The transition to electronic format does not cancel students’ regular documents. Students will be able to use any of them.
