Altyn Asyr offers virtual SIM cards to Turkmen subscribers
Implementing the state policy in the field of digitalization, the cellular operator in Turkmenistan “Altyn Asyr” offers its customers a new E-sim virtual number service.
A virtual number is an innovative way to connect to a mobile phone over the Internet without physical access or a SIM card. To use it, you must have a special chip that supports the appropriate technology.
An E-sim virtual number is a modern version of a SIM card. It is not tied to a SIM card. To activate a virtual number, just scan the QR code with your smartphone and activate the SIM card in its settings. The virtual card cannot be used on two devices at the same time.
A virtual number has such advantages as confidentiality (the number is not tied to a physical device) and cost savings (it costs less and there is no subscription fee).
