High-rise buildings on Novy Arbat in Moscow will be painted in the colors of the Turkmen flag

On the evening of September 27, on the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, high-rise buildings on Novy Arbat in Moscow will be illuminated in the colors of the Turkmen national flag, the Turkmen embassy in the Russian Federation reported. In this way, the Russian capital welcomes the main national holiday of Turkmenistan.

"The decision of the Moscow mayor's office has become an important symbolic and meaningful gesture demonstrating a commitment to friendship, good neighborliness, mutual understanding and respect - the defining characteristics of the strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation," the diplomatic mission noted.

The festive illumination will last from 8 p.m. to midnight Moscow time.
