The Beijing Marathon 2024, which started in Tiananmen Square, attracted about 30,000 participants, including visually and hearing-impaired people. This is reported by China daily.

In particular, the team from the charity group Running in the Dark, which was established in October 2019 to promote equal opportunities in sports such as running, participated in the event.

They were assisted by volunteer guides.

The Beijing Marathon is an annual marathon held in Beijing. It has been held in October since 1981. The marathon race starts at Tiananmen Square and ends at the Olympic Sports Complex stadium.
