The new head of regional division of Sabre in Central Asia Alexey Yanshin announced his intention to direct the company's activity to further increase interaction with the countries of the CA in the field of tourism. The general director of this leading technology manufacturer on the global tourist arena is sure that the new vector of work of the company headed by him will lead to an increase in the efficiency of the tourist industry in Central Asia. The services offered by Sabre can contribute to the discovery of the enormous tourist potential of the region through innovative online technologies, Yanshin said. Prospects for tourism development were discussed during the recent telephone conversation between President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and Astrakhan Region Governor Alexander Zhilkin. A special emphasis was placed on the development of cross-country tourism in the Caspian, including the National Tourism Zone “Avaza”. One of the promising areas is the organization of cruise travel. “Avaza” is the first free economic zone in Turkmenistan, where tax and customs privileges are granted to the companies operating here, that is why it is of special interest for foreign investors and has a huge potential for further development.
