A meeting was held in Ashgabat between representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and a delegation from Nottingham Trent University (United Kingdom).

This mission was carried out as part of a collaboration between the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi and Nottingham Trent University. Nottingham Trent University was represented by Dr. Martin Sevier and Sam Barkley.

The parties discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation in higher education, in particular, the improvement of English language teaching, teacher training programs, and academic exchanges. The importance of developing joint research projects and introducing digital educational tools was emphasized. Special attention was paid to conducting workshops and seminars for English language teachers, aimed at improving teaching methods and introducing innovative technologies in educational processes.
