«Solar» highway will charge electric cars

The second in the country plan for the construction of a highway using solar panels, implemented by Quilu Transportation Development Group in the Chinese city of Jinan is in the last stage of completion. Concrete construction with a layer of solar panels will serve as a charger for electric cars, which are in great demand in the global automotive market at the present time. The lowest layer should serve as a shield, protecting the mechanisms from the wet earth. In general, this structure is able to sustain the weight of a medium-sized truck.Aijahan ATABALLYEVA
The first “solar” road in the Celestial Empire, built by the same company, was commissioned in September last year. 660 square meters of solar panels were used for 10 months of construction work.
A similar construction with application of 2800 square meters of solar batteries was built in France, namely in the town of Tourouvre-au-Perchea year earlier. In 2014, the Netherlands created a “solar” path for bike riders.
