Turkmen youth successfully perform at International Science Fair-Competition in Indonesia

Students of the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, Suleymanmuhammet Shamuhammedov and Aymyrat Halnazarov, participated in the 5th Youth International Science Fair Competition (YISF) among young people in Malang, Indonesia, and won gold medals.

The Turkmen delegation, led by Atamyrat Altyev, a teacher at the same university, achieved the following results with their research paper entitled "Scientific Basis of Obtaining Green Cement from Industrial Waste Materials":

1st place in the scientific category of Environmental Protection;

Special Award of the Malaysian Young Scientists Organization (MYSO);

"Semi Grand Award" of the Indonesian Young Scientists Association (IYSA).

The Youth International Science Fair (YISF) competition was held in five categories: social sciences, environment, life sciences, innovative sciences, and engineering, with 446 teams from 24 countries participating.

Participants from Indonesia, Austria, China, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, South Africa, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Iran, Romania, Brazil, the Republic of Turkey, Singapore, Vietnam, the United States of America, India, and Malaysia also participated in the competition.
