The world's first scent-emitting smartphone will be presented in April
Infinix, a company known for its innovations in the field of mobile technology, is preparing to launch the world's first scent-emitting smartphone, named the Note 50s 5G+.
The official presentation of the device will take place on April 18th.
The primary feature of the new smartphone will be Energizing Scent-Tech technology, which allows the device to emanate a fragrance. This technology is based on the microencapsulation of an active substance within the artificial leather of the smartphone's back panel. Aroma molecules will be gradually released, creating a subtle scent which, according to the developers, should not cause discomfort to the user. However, it is worth noting that the fragrance will only last for approximately six months, after which the release of molecules will virtually cease. The smartphone will be available in three colors, but only the Marine Drift Blue version will be scented.
This innovation underscores Infinix's commitment to experimentation in the design and functionality of its devices.
