At the World Exposition Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, which opened on April 13, 2025, the first demonstration flights of a flying car developed by Japanese companies took place.

These flights showcased advancements in the field of aerial transportation technology.

The flying car, rendered in vibrant blue and red – the colors of the official mascot of Expo, Myaku-Myaku – was presented in two stages: the first flight took place at 11:00 AM, and the second at 2:00 PM.

Demonstrations by three Japanese operating companies of such vehicles will take place without passengers throughout the duration of the exposition, which will last for six months.

The vehicles, utilizing unmanned aerial vehicle technologies, are intended for the transportation of people and cargo.
