The draft of the National Strategic Plan of Turkmenistan for Tuberculosis control for 2026–2030 was discussed
At the UN building in Ashgabat, a videoconference meeting of the National Working Group of Turkmenistan on Tuberculosis was held to discuss the first draft of the National Strategic Plan for Tuberculosis control for 2026–2030.
The meeting was organized by the Country Office of the World Health Organization (WHO) and was attended by Dr. Mikhail Volik, a tuberculosis expert from the WHO Regional Office for Europe (WHO/Europe). He prepared the draft National Strategic Plan for Tuberculosis control for 2026–2030, which lays a solid foundation for the sustainable and effective prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of tuberculosis in Turkmenistan.
Participants identified the main steps necessary for the further development of the plan and its successful implementation.
