Trades at the SCRMT: 15 deals concluded last week
During the past week, a total of 15 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
For foreign currency, representatives of business circles from Afghanistan procured liquefied gas, aviation kerosene, and petroleum road bitumen ("Turkmennebit" SC), as well as sodium chloride and gasoline manufactured at the technological facilities of the "Turkmenhimiya" State Concern.
Furthermore, for foreign currency, autoclaved aerated concrete blocks, cotton fiber, cotton yarn and fabric, and granulated household soap were sold. The purchasing countries included Afghanistan, Republic of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. The total value of these transactions exceeded 41 million 130 thousand United States dollars.
For the domestic market, local businesspersons purchased Portland cement, raw silk, and licorice root extract for a total sum of 34 million 570 thousand Turkmen manats.
