National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev planted an oak tree together on the alley of honored guests of the Congress Center in Samarkand.
The ceremony became a symbol of the strengthening centuries-old friendship and good neighborliness of the two fraternal peoples, a firm commitment to further development of Turkmen-Uzbek relations of strategic partnership, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said.
