Erdogan: Turkmen gas to be transported to Turkiye via the Caspian Seabed

Turkey will import natural gas from Turkmenistan via pipelines laid along the bottom of the Caspian Sea.
According to a report by Report news agency, this statement was made by the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, during his address at the Natural Resources Summit in Istanbul.
"Since March of this year, we have been supplying Turkmen gas to Turkey through the territory of Iran," the Turkish leader emphasized.
He stated that up to this point, 250 million cubic meters of natural gas have been transported via this route, and this figure is expected to increase to 1.3 billion cubic meters by the end of the year.
