Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Emmanuel Macron

On May 5, Monday evening, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris.
Following the talks at the Elysée Palace, several agreements were signed. Among them, French media mention a framework agreement with the French Thales Alenia Space Group on the supply of a second telecommunications satellite to Turkmenistan.
The parties also agreed on cooperation in the field of sustainable urban development, the conclusion of a roadmap for educational and academic cooperation, and the expansion of a joint archaeological mission in Turkmenistan.
