Turkmenistan creates State Commission for organizing wheat harvest
In order to improve economic stability and food security, as well as to increase the efficiency of harvesting and transporting wheat in Turkmenistan, the President of the country signed a Resolution aimed at organizing the grain harvest in 2025. The document provides for the creation of a State Commission to coordinate all stages of the harvest and the approval of its composition.
The State Association "Türkmenobahyzmat" will ensure the smooth operation of combines, organizing their timely maintenance during the harvest.
The Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers is obliged to ensure the transportation of the harvested wheat to collection points, warehouses and elevators in order to eliminate losses. For this purpose, a contract with the State Association "Türkmengallaönümleri" will be used, as well as vehicles from other ministries, departments and private companies.
The document is aimed at improving logistics and increasing the efficiency of work in the agricultural sector, which helps ensure the country's food independence and support agricultural production.
